Sonic Haven Studios was founded in 2010 by Jedediah "Jed" Smalls, a Nashville native with a lifelong passion for music and audio engineering. Jed began his career as a musician, touring the local circuit and experiencing firsthand the challenges artists face in capturing high-quality recordings. Frustrated by the limitations of existing studios, Jed set out to create a recording environment that was both technically superior and artistically inspiring.

Starting with a small, rented space in East Nashville, Jed painstakingly built Sonic Haven Studios from the ground up. He invested in top-of-the-line equipment, meticulously soundproofed the rooms, and cultivated a welcoming atmosphere where artists could feel comfortable and creative. Word of mouth spread quickly, and soon Sonic Haven became known as a go-to destination for musicians seeking exceptional sound and personalized service.

Over the years, Sonic Haven Studios has expanded its facilities and services, adding a second recording room, a dedicated mastering suite, and a team of talented engineers and producers. We've had the privilege of working with a diverse range of artists, from up-and-coming indie bands to established country stars. In 2023, Sonic Haven Studios underwent a major renovation, incorporating the latest advancements in audio technology and design.
